SSC/TK/ZA gear requirements

Hello orphans! First, I'd like to thank everyone who participated in our two Kara runs tonight. Awesome job everyone. We were expecting to only run one official group and it was great to see 18 orphans in Kara tonight. We will continue to work out the kinks for sign-ups and group mixes. Please bear with us in the meantime... and of course, sign up in GCal for next week's raids.

Second, it's time to discuss gear requirements for progression. In order to continue to suceed in T5 content (grats on our first full clear in ZA this week), we need to continue to enforce the minimum gear requirements. Briefly, Kara, Gruul's, and Mag's are tier 4 content and Serpentshrine, Tempest Keep, and Zul'Aman are tier 5 content. The step up in content difficult is significant and for that reason, everyone who attends a T5 raid must be appropriately geared and specced. This is the point at which we need both skill and gear to succeed. Every player should be pve specced and have at least full T4 or equivalent pve gear that is appropriately gemmed and enchanted.

We plan on adding SSC and TK to our raid calendar within two weeks. However, we are not going to do so with an undergeared group. It's frustrating, expensive, and futile. This is new content for most of us, so let's make sure we give ourselves the best possible chance for success by being appropriately geared. Please take a look at your gear now and figure out what you need to upgrade to get to a full T4 pve set so you can be ready to move into T5 with us. If you need assistance with gear choices, ask any officer or class leader for assistance on gearing up for T5. There are also numerous wow-fanatic websites with advice on how to gear and spec for specific raids.

Hopefully the ranks in the guild can help facilitate this. The last TK raid i hopped in had people in greens and i actually had to summon someone in without a flying mount... needless to say we didn't down any bosses.
