To the best of my knowledge, we do not currently have a feral druid tank. Hint, hint.

I totally second that, Op. We've been in dire need of a quality feral druid for awhile. You can gather two sets of gear this way too: tank and dps! Not to mention all the leather healing gear will probably fall to you anyways... but God help you if you take Op's cloth healing gear

2 iron rings of the unbreakable, or one and the protector ring from kara will do.

Heavy clefthoof set, a leatherworker can make this for you.

try and get the t4 helm/gloves.

earthwarden, pvp staff, badge staff, terrastrian's stranglestaff.

lots of neck options.

With talent survival of the fittest you need 3.14% crit reduction. obtain this through resilience and/or defense

Tank stats for early heroics, 22k armor, 25 percent dodge, uncrittable, and 12k health. all this in bear form unbuffed.

You will need one of those staves i mentioned earlier before you start tanking for the AP to hold threat, trust me. GL
