I like to do all my UIs pretty custom, I used to have a full Pirate UI I was working on, but abandoned it. Here's my latest one I made specifically for Anse. The golden leaves are mostly covered atm on the side of the bar, I've got to fix that.

Here's one I threw together yesterday for my Enhancement Shaman. It's basically the same as the Blood Elf but with the Horde Crest and different coloring. I can't come up with anything good to put on the side where the blood elf has leaves, so if you can think of something, let me know

what de fuck yall using to edit these? being a graphic designer i'd love to fuck around with my ui changin some shit up.

I can see, maybe eepanels or kgpanels but what do you use for your combat frames?

thats the kid of modding I want to do, being a graphic artist myself.

I'm thinking of a gunmetal grey, shadowy theme for rogues.

I currently use xperl, bongos, kgpanels, and cycircled.

Also, since you've done the golden leaves, you might want to try oak leaves for your shammy or different elemental totems.

Yeah the graphics are imported through eepanels, I just found most on wowwiki and edited them in Gimp. I'm not a graphic artist myself so it's all images I found and imported. The character frames are Pitbull with the option of putting the portrait frame "Center". That's a good call about the totems on the side, Malagond. I tried a couple horde banners but didn't really like anything I could find, so I just settled for the blank space, esp. since I stopped playing my shaman a lot.

Must play with pitbull.

I also found something nice, has anyone tried fiddling with a heads-up-display addon? I'm fiddling with a few, trying to figure out which one I like more and, annoyingly, the one that I do like intercepts mouse clicks, which means it can prevent me from using the mouse look feature during a crucial moment in a fight. The other one I like needs curved bars but otherwise is good.

I tried using a HUD for awhile, but I really don't like having stuff anywhere but on the bottom area, that's where my eyes and my mouse tend to gravitate to naturally and I just end up ignoring anything above that (that's also why the unit frame addon is essential for me, I never watched health bars until I got them down near the bottom)

Aside from pitbull (I'm not liking it too much) and bartender, what other ui mods do you use?

I see theres this experience/reputation bar up on your fubar and a few other things...

could you give me a list of stuff you use please?

I found a hud addon that you can turn into horizontal bars and position elsewhere and i might just use that instead of pitbull.

when i dps in a raid i have omen up, (which never happens really cuz i end up having to go back to resto) x:
so far this is how i raid, for 10 mans i have a different set up with a caster/target monitor
and that is target of target of target LAWL

Ashwaffles has a bigger mess on his UI than I do, and if you look at the chat on Taret's screen shot, you can see her making fun of my UI =(

I prefer a minimalistic UI. Something small and effective and gives me most of the screen to see what's going down.

It was a general request to everyone that shared pictures of their ui. I for one would like to know what anse uses for his experience and reputation bars and what Taret uses for his hud.

what image formats does it support and how the hell do you use the path syntax? The addon's own tooltip is very helpful.

Sorry for the slow reply, Malagond. I've uploaded a screenshot of my addon folder because that's a lot easier than listing all of them. I've been working on my addon addiction so there's actually quite a few less in there than when I last took that screenshot but most of the cosmetic stuff is still there I believe.

The XP/Reputation Bar is FuBar_FuXPFu from Wowaceupdater.

Yeah, Pitbull is all about customization, it's by far the most powerful unit frame mod because you can do almost anything you want with it, but you have to put in a decent chunk of time to set it up. I've used AG Unit Frames in the past and remember liking it (http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/9005/). A hud i've heard mentioned, but never tried, is the popular ArcHUD (http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/2258/) might be worth checking out.

I can't seem to get the path syntax correct for my kgpanels, how does it work and what image file formats does it support?

I've never used kgpanels, I use eePanels2. But if it's like eePanels2, it only imports TGA (I recommend using Gimp as a free alternative if you don't have photoshop).

We use photoshop in school so I'm forced to use a casual copy for educational purposes. (because its damn expensive for students) I also have gimp on the side for when I need to do stuff for work.

I'm looking at the video now hopefully I'll figure it out and get my interface looking the way I want it to.
